NICEIC is the UK's leading certification body for the electrical contracting industry. To hold Approved Contractor status, we're independently assessed every year against the most rigorous safety, technical and quality standards in the trade.
Every installation we complete is designed, installed and tested in line with BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 — the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations — and signed off with the appropriate certification.
Constructionline pre-qualifies us against industry procurement standards, and our Acclaim Accreditation independently verifies our health & safety competence — the SSIP-recognised evidence main contractors need before letting us on site.
Constructionline Gold Member goes further than standard Constructionline: a single audit covering SSIP health & safety, financial standing, anti-bribery, modern slavery, environmental management and quality — meeting PAS 91 pre-qualification in full.
BAFE Fire Safety Register is the UK's independent third-party register for fire safety providers. Our BAFE registration confirms our fire detection & alarm work is designed, installed and commissioned to BS 5839 by competent, audited engineers.
SafeContractor Approved (Alcumus) is an SSIP-recognised health & safety accreditation audited annually against current HSE guidance — giving clients confidence that our on-site safety management stands up to scrutiny.
Airside Operator Licences — London Gatwick & London Heathrow. We hold airside and ground operator licences for both airports, allowing our engineers to work in the secure airside environment — taxiways, stands and live aircraft operations — under CAA and airport-authority safety, security and driver permit rules.

Fully qualified electricians
Every electrical engineer is qualified and experienced, ensuring installations meet BS 7671 and the highest site standards.
ECS cards across the team
All employees carry valid ECS cards, proving their competence, health & safety awareness and eligibility to work on site.
Airside passes & driving permits
Our people hold the airside passes and driving permits needed to operate safely around aircraft at Gatwick and Heathrow.
First Aid trained
Team members are first-aid trained so that every site has people ready to respond if an incident occurs.
Investing in apprentices
We support apprentices from year one right through to qualification, giving the next generation of electricians hands-on experience alongside experienced engineers. Many of our senior team started with BWEC as apprentices and have grown their careers here.
A management team built from within
Our management team is made up of professionals who started their careers with us through apprenticeships. Their experience on the tools, on site and in client meetings means they lead with practical knowledge and a genuine understanding of how BWEC works.
