Accreditations

Independently assessed. Properly certified.

These are not marketing badges. Each is independently re-assessed on a defined cycle, and each is a hard requirement for the procurement systems used by the clients we work with.

NICEIC Approved Contractor
01

NICEIC Approved Contractor

NICEIC is the UK's leading certification body for the electrical contracting industry. To retain Approved Contractor status, we are independently assessed each year against the most rigorous technical, safety and quality standards in the trade.

Why it matters · Required by every serious commercial buyer and public-sector client. The standard against which our installations are inspected.

Constructionline
02

Constructionline

Constructionline is the UK's procurement and supply chain management service used by Tier 1 contractors and public-sector buyers to pre-qualify their supply chain.

Why it matters · Confirms we meet PAS 91 standards on health & safety, environmental, quality and financial competence — paperwork our clients don't need to re-do.

Acclaim Accreditation
03

Acclaim Accreditation

Acclaim is an independent SSIP-recognised health & safety competency assessment, scoped specifically for the construction industry.

Why it matters · A baseline requirement for working on secure, high-compliance sites — including airports and live commercial environments.

BAFE Fire Safety Register
04

BAFE Fire Safety Register

BAFE is the UK's independent third-party register for fire safety providers. Our BAFE registration covers fire detection & alarm work designed, installed and commissioned to BS 5839 by competent, audited engineers.

Why it matters · The recognised mark of competence for fire alarm work — required by many insurers, specifiers and enforcing authorities before accepting installation certificates.

SafeContractor Approved
05

SafeContractor Approved

SafeContractor (Alcumus) is an SSIP-recognised health & safety accreditation audited annually against current HSE guidance and construction-industry best practice.

Why it matters · An additional SSIP route accepted by main contractors that mandate SafeContractor specifically, so we can be onboarded to their sites without duplicate assessments.

Constructionline Gold Member
06

Constructionline Gold Member

Constructionline Gold goes further than standard Constructionline: a single annual audit covering SSIP health & safety, financial standing, anti-bribery, modern slavery, environmental management and quality — meeting PAS 91 pre-qualification in full.

Why it matters · One audit satisfies the majority of Tier 1 PQQ requirements without follow-up paperwork, accelerating onboarding onto major frameworks.

Airside Operator Licence – Gatwick & Heathrow
07

Airside Operator Licence – Gatwick & Heathrow

BWEC holds airside and ground operator licences for both London Gatwick and London Heathrow, allowing our engineers to work within the tightly controlled airside environment — the secure zone beyond passenger areas covering taxiways, stands and live aircraft operations.

Why it matters · Working airside requires security clearance, airport-specific driver permits and strict adherence to CAA and airport-authority safety rules. Holding licences at both major London hubs means we can mobilise electrical and fire-safety teams directly onto aircraft-facing infrastructure at either airport.

Standards we work to

Code-compliant work. Auditable paperwork. No corners cut.

  • BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 — 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
  • BS 5839 — Fire detection and fire alarm systems
  • BS 5266 — Emergency lighting
  • Airside safety and security protocols (CAA / operator-specific)

We carry full public liability, employer's liability and contract works insurance — documentation available on request as part of our standard pre-contract pack.
